When you finally realize it wasn’t just your fault…
Ever been in love with somebody? Ever thought they were gonna be your whole life from that day they became yours to love? Ever think they’d love you just as much as you love them? Ever think they’d do everything you’d do for them? Ever imagined life with them? Ever thought you were gonna be inseparable? And after breaking up… Did you ever regret everything? Then ever think of apologizing and asking for a second chance? After everything… Did you ever think it was all your fault?
Mistakes, ignorance, misunderstanding… What if it was never your fault? What if nothing was wrong with you? What if it was all a mistake?
Someday you’ll realize it wasn’t just because of you that something great had ended. You can’t love the same again, unless you love yourself. Although sometimes, it will never be the same again… maybe they’ll hate you, maybe they’ll thank you, maybe they’ll be your friend still, maybe they’ll forgot your existence… When you finally realize it wasn’t just your fault, don’t hate them back. The text you never sent,
Have you ever wanted to text someone saying “I miss you”, then erased it & wrote “what’s up” instead? Or have you ever written a long paragraph in a text and you wrote down how you felt, & wanted to send it to someone special, but maybe you were afraid you weren’t gonna get a reply cause you made it awkward, so you just drafted it or erased the whole thing & didn’t bother texting them at all?
